Salento is not just the place where I was born; it is the school where I learned to read the light. Growing up among the sharp contrasts of the south, where the sun carves the shadows and the sea dictates the rhythm of time, taught me that every image has a soul, if you know how to wait for it. What I do today is the result of years spent observing, long before I even began to shoot.

In an era dominated by instant digital and clinical perfection, I have chosen to maintain a deep connection with analog photography. To me, film is not nostalgia: it is discipline. Shooting on film means slowing down, thinking about every single frame, and respecting both the chemistry and the wait. I bring this same care to my digital and cinematic work: I seek that authentic 'grain,' that truth that only a physical process can restore. I do not look for the perfect image; I look for the true image.
